Description
Improved High-Yield Forage brassica, especially if plated early in the growing season. Great source of protein and energy for wildlife. Very cold, heat and drought tolerant. Well-managed plots can have rape that exceeds 30 percent crude protein. Rape also has a lower ADF (Acid Detergent Fiber) making rape more digestible to animals. ADF is a measure of various plant compounds which include lignin.
