Description
Egyptian Wheat is an annual crop that will provide some forage leading up to the plant maturity. Egyptian wheat is known to get 8-12 feet tall and acts as a barrier to get you to your hunting stand undetected when hunting season arrives. For best results, follow your soil test kit results. Matures in 100-110 days.
Planting:
- Plant up to 1/2″-3/4” inch deep
- Spring into early summer
- Drill 10-15 lbs per acre
- Broadcast 15-20 lbs per acre
- pH: 6.0-7.0
Soil Type Preference: Heavy or light, well or poorly drained
