Description

Sorghum x  Sudangrass is an annual crop that provides the best of both worlds.  Highly palatable forage leading up to plant maturity and then a barrier to get you to your hunting stand undetected when hunting season arrives.  If the food plot manager is using Sorghum x Sudangrass only as a food source, then clip back should occur.  Sorghum X Sudangrass will get 6+ feet tall.  For best results, follow your soil test kit results.  Matures in 55-60 days.

Planting:

• Plant up to 1” inch deep
• Spring into early fall
• Drill 20-30 lbs per acre
• Broadcast 20-40 lbs per acre
• pH: 6.0-7.0

Soil Type Preference: Heavy or light, well or poorly drained
